Hello, the ‘My Pocket Prayer Book’ is excellent and I use it constantly for the prayers before and after holy Mass and before and after holy communion, as well as the other prayers in it. Many thanks for fulfilling my order - I have already started giving these to people who are likely to use them regularly. If a re-print is considered, I suggest to add in the 10 commandments. In order to avoid having to add another page into the booklet, it may be possible for this to be done by squeezing up the contents of the first page where it gives the name of the booklet and the author’s name, and the catholic Book Publishing Corp tittle which is located at the bottom of that page - i.e. put all of the existing info into the top half of this first page, thereby making the bottom half available for the 10 commandments.
The reason for this suggestion is that many Catholics do not know or have forgotten the 10 commandments and they need to be reminded of them whenever possible. One e.g. of the many consequences of not knowing the 10 commandments (people are unlikely to live the 10 commandments if they do not know them) is the frequent taking of the Lords name in vain which is forbidden by the 2nd commandment. This suggestion is based on what Jesus told us in Jn 14:15, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments”. May God bless the great work you do. John J Cummins
